At First Baptist Church our children (infant through 6th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.

What We Offer


We desire for every child to know Jesus as Lord, leader, forgiver, and friend while growing in their relationship with Him through worship, Bible reading, prayer, serving, sharing their faith, participating in our church family, and learning from caring mentors.


We also desire to encourage and equip families to lead their children spiritually and help them grow in faith.

  • Our Purpose & Vision

    👉 Our Purpose

    At First Baptist Church Louisville, our purpose is to partner with families to help make disciples of Jesus. Following the example of Deuteronomy 6:5-7, we believe parents play an important role in teaching their children about God through everyday conversations and experiences. We want to encourage and equip families with the resources they need to guide their children in faith.


    👉 Our Vision

    Our vision is to see children know, love, and follow Jesus with their whole lives. Through sound biblical teaching, we help children understand who God is, grow in their love for Him, and develop a love for others, as taught in Matthew 22:37-39.

  • Sunday School

    Sunday School is one of our best opportunities to connect with others in a small-group setting. At First Baptist Church Louisville, it serves as a place to build relationships and friendships with people in similar stages of life. We offer classes for children of all ages, giving each child the opportunity to make friends and learn about Jesus.


    Sunday School meets every Sunday morning from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.


    If you’re unsure where to go, ask a greeter or stop by the visitor connection table in the fellowship hall. We’ll be happy to help you find the right class.

  • Children’s Church

    Children’s Church is a fun and engaging worship experience designed especially for children in K4 through 3rd grade. After the adult worship time begins at 11:00 a.m., children are dismissed to Children’s Church, where they can enjoy an energetic, welcoming environment that encourages them to learn about Jesus and grow in their faith.

  • Wednesday Night Kids

    Wednesday Night Kids offers a variety of activities to help children grow in their faith, build friendships, and have fun. Activities include RAs and GAs, Mission Friends, Children’s Choir, Bible study, and recreation time. Join us every Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.!
