Loving
 First Baptist Church is committed to loving God.
 
Mark 12:30 - "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength."
 
First Baptist Church is committed to loving others. 
 
Loving Other Christians - John 13:34-35 - "I give you a new commandment: love one another.  Just as I have loved you, you must also love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."
 
Loving Other People in General - Mark 12:31 - "... Love your neighbor as yourself." 
 
Loving Those Who don't Love Us - Luke 6:27-28 - "But I say to you who listen: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you."
  
Learning
First Baptist Church is committed to learning by studying Scripture.
 
2 Timothy 3:14-17 - "But as for you, continue in what you have learned and firmly believed, knowing those from whom you learned, and that from childhood you have known the sacred Scriptures, which are able to instruct you for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."

2 Timothy 2:2 - "And what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, commit to faithful men who will be able to teach others also."

Serving
