The purpose of the music ministry at First Baptist is to help you in your spiritual walk with a loving Lord and to work toward a higher standard of musical excellence in our worship to Him. We want to encourage and equip you to reach a new level of spiritual awareness when you seek to worship a living, holy God.

It was Paul who wrote in Colossians to "Let the word of God dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."
